History of YAMACHICOPRTION

Yamachi Corporation, celebrating its 60th anniversary, started as a wholesaler of building materials in Hokkaido, Japan.

1958: Yamachi Corporation was founded as Yamachi Lumber Store.

1965: Johnson Homes, a housing business, founded

1965: Started purchasing imported building materials

1982: Started event planning and rental business

1987: Distribution center established in the suburbs of the head office

1996: Yamachi United Corp was founded through the merger of four companies.

1997: Established a 2x4 housing panel factory near the head office

2000: Established a franchise for European-designed houses.

2006: Established Tokyo Branch in Chuo-ku, Tokyo

2007: Interior store opened in Sapporo, Hokkaido

2008: Group companies started condominium renovation, remodeling, exterior and real estate business.

2011: Started senior care business specializing in functional training

2012: Changed the company name from Housing Yamachi Co. to Yamachi Corporation.

2014: Started management consulting service

2015: Started cafe/restaurant business

2020: Original building material brand "MYKE" started
